INTRODUCTION
By registering for services through Canada Citizenship Help, you (“the Client”) are entering into a formal agreement with Canada AG Immigration & Citizenship Services, retaining the services of a Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultant (RCIC) to act on your behalf in accordance with the terms outlined herein.
This Agreement is entered into pursuant to the rules and by-laws of the College of Immigration and Citizenship Consultants (CICC), the national regulatory body for immigration consultants in Canada.
- DEFINITIONS
Unless otherwise stated, terms used in this Agreement have the meanings prescribed in the CICC Service Agreement Regulation and By-law.
- Authorized Representative: A professional licensed under Canadian law to provide immigration/citizenship advice or services.
- CICC: College of Immigration and Citizenship Consultants.
- Client: A person or entity whose interests the RCIC agrees to represent.
- Designate: A person authorized in writing by the Client to act on their behalf.
- Disbursements: Miscellaneous expenses incurred during representation (e.g., courier fees, IRCC filing fees).
- RCIC: The authorized representative from Canada AG Immigration & Citizenship Services, licensed under membership number R534755.
- IRCC: Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada.
- Service Agreement: This contract outlines the RCIC’s duties and the Client’s obligations.
- RCIC RESPONSIBILITIES
The RCIC agrees to act on behalf of the Client to obtain a Canadian Citizenship Certificate and will:
- Provide professional advice regarding citizenship eligibility and the process.
- Complete required forms and review documentation in accordance with IRCC standards.
- Provide the Client with a personalized checklist of required documents.
- Submit the completed application to IRCC promptly.
- Maintain regular communication and respond to reasonable inquiries.
- Manage correspondence with IRCC on the Client’s behalf.
- Act in the best interests of the Client, within the limits of the law.
- CLIENT RESPONSIBILITIES
The Client agrees to:
- Provide all required documentation upon request.
- Ensure documents are in English or French (or include certified translations).
- Be truthful and accurate; any misrepresentation may result in termination of this Agreement without refund.
- Notify the RCIC of any direct contact from IRCC.
- Inform the RCIC of any change in address or contact information.
- In joint representation cases, consent to information-sharing among jointly represented parties.
- PAYMENT TERMS
Professional, administrative, and IRCC fees are payable based on the fee structure posted on the sign-up page for each service.
- BILLING METHOD
The Client will pay a flat professional fee and an administrative fee online at the time of registration.
- REFUND POLICY
- Professional fees are earned as services are rendered.
- IRCC filing fees and disbursements are non-refundable.
- No refund will be issued in cases of misrepresentation, incomplete disclosure, or delays/refusals by IRCC.
- A refund may be issued upon written request from the client, provided that no services have been rendered. This includes, but is not limited to, the following situations:

Phone calls

Emails
-
Review or consultation of documents

Application submissions to government sites (e.g., birth certificates)
Please note that services are considered rendered once any action is taken on your behalf, including but not limited to the above.

- DISPUTE RESOLUTION
- Disputes related to RCIC’s professional conduct must first be addressed in writing to the RCIC, who will respond within 30 days.
- If unresolved, the Client may file a complaint with CICC:

- CONFIDENTIALITY
- All personal and sensitive information received by the RCIC will remain confidential and used solely for immigration representation unless disclosure is required by law.
- Communications between Client and RCIC are protected under professional confidentiality obligations.
- Note: Confidentiality does not create solicitor–client privilege with IRCC or other government authorities.
- FORCE MAJEURE
The RCIC shall not be liable for any failure to perform duties under this Agreement due to circumstances beyond their control (e.g., war, pandemic, legislative changes).
- AMENDMENTS
Material changes to the Client’s circumstances or immigration law may require modifications to this Agreement. All changes must be made in writing and agreed to by both parties.
- TERMINATION
This Agreement will terminate when:
- All tasks outlined in Section 2 are completed, or
- Material changes in the Client’s situation or eligibility render continuation impossible.
- WITHDRAWAL / DISCHARGE
- The Client may terminate this Agreement in writing at any time. Any refundable fees will be assessed under the Refund Policy.
- The RCIC may withdraw from representation under conditions outlined in the CICC Code of Professional Ethics, provided the Client is not prejudiced.
- Upon termination, the RCIC will return all original documents to the Client within 30 days.
- GOVERNING LAW
This Agreement is governed by the laws of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada. Unless otherwise provided in Section 7, disputes shall be resolved in Ontario courts.
- MISCELLANEOUS
- This Agreement represents the entire understanding between the Client and the RCIC.
- All sections are severable; invalid provisions do not affect the validity of the rest.
- The Client acknowledges having had the opportunity to seek independent legal advice and confirms full understanding and acceptance of all terms.

- ELECTRONIC ACCEPTANCE & SIGNING OF THE SERVICE AGREEMENT
By electronically signing through our online sign-up platform and entering your initials, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to the terms of this Service Agreement. In accordance with the College of Immigration and Citizenship Consultants (CICC) By-law 9, Service Agreement Regulation, this electronic acceptance constitutes valid execution of the Agreement. Upon successful completion of the sign-up process, the Agreement becomes legally binding and enforceable by both parties—the Client and the RCIC.
