- Data Collection and Use
- All personal information collected through our online platform and electronic communications is stored on secure servers in Canada and is used exclusively to prepare and submit your Canadian citizenship or passport application.
- Your information is never disclosed to third parties without your prior written consent, except in the following circumstances:
- To authorized Canada Citizenship Help employees and agents,
- To the Government of Canada (including Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada – IRCC and the Passport Program) as part of the application process,
- When required by law.
- All employees and agents of Canada Citizenship Help are bound by confidentiality agreements and a professional Code of Conduct.
- Information Required
We collect only the information necessary to:
- Accurately complete your application,
- Keep you informed about the status of your application.
If you submit an application on behalf of another individual, it is your responsibility to ensure that they have consented to the disclosure of their personal information.
- Data Retention and Deletion
To protect your data, we apply the following measures:
- Upon registration, each client is issued a secure, encrypted private link to upload the completed application and supporting documents.
- All data transmitted via this link or by email is encrypted to prevent unauthorized access.
- All documents and information submitted to Canada Citizenship Help are deleted from our system once the client confirms receipt of their citizenship certificate or passport, or earlier upon written request.
- As required by the College of Immigration and Citizenship Consultants (CICC), Canada Citizenship Help retains a client’s basic contact information (name, address, email, and phone number) and summary notes about services provided for a maximum of seven (7) years, after which all data is permanently deleted.
- Communication and Service Updates
With your authorization, Canada Citizenship Help may share application status updates with you or with a third party you designate. For identity verification, you (or your authorized contact) will be required to provide:
- Name
- Customer Number
- Date of Birth
- Email Address
- Mailing Address
- Third-Party Disclosure
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing or promotional purposes. Your data is used exclusively to fulfill the services you have requested.
